MINGO IS A DESIGNER’S FRIEND
We’re here to help you put what’s in your head on paper. We do things a little differently than most. You see, we’re not an online printer. We’re a printer that is now online. And we’ve taken the same philosophy to the web that we’ve had in our shop for 35 years. Specifically:
When you place an order, you are assigned a team of people who will oversee your job all the way through production. They will take care of everything you need, and be your contacts here. We think it’s always nice to have a real person to talk to, don’t you?
No Rush Service Fees
It’s really this simple: when we receive your proof approval, we start printing your job. None of this 3 or 4 days later nonsense. Best of all? We don’t charge for that kind of service. We think it should come naturally.
All great printing starts with paper, doesn’t it? We work with designers every day, so we don’t try to pass off some cheap sheets on you. You’ll find lots of paper choices throughout our product lines. And if you want one you don’t see? You got it – call us. We’ll be happy to get it for you.
Of course we offer digital printing. It’s the backbone of small runs, and is getting better and better. But we started as an offset printer many years ago, and we still love the smell of ink. You’ll like it for larger runs and spot color and consistency. And for some texture, consider thermography. It’s heat process raises the ink and gives a dimensional feel to the piece.
We accept any kind of high-resolution file you want to send. Any file output to high-res, multi-page PDF is fine. Any image file is fine. We also accept any Mac or PC version of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, Freehand, Pagemaker, CorelDRAW! or even Pages, Keynote, Publisher, Word or PowerPoint. And probably just about anything else you care to send.
Professionalism…with a Smile
We want you to have a great experience with us. We have built our business on that simple idea. And that is our promise to you. Please let us know how we do.
Meet a few of the people that make up Mingo:
Gary :: Our leader is a truly nice guy who believes that if his team takes care of their customers, they will return the favor. He’s run a successful multi-million dollar printing business for more than 35 years. So apparently he’s right.
His favorite color? FULL COLOR. What else did you expect from a lifelong printer?
Don :: Our company president started at the bottom here as a driver back in the 1980s. Since then, he’s run the presses, the shops, and now the company. Don is a big burly guy who understands printing, computers and little silver sports cars. He’s a good guy to know.
And the artist he admires the most? His dad. Don says he was a terrific painter.
Alex :: Alex comes by his printing knowledge naturally. He grew up in the business, working in his dad’s print shop. Alex is now a color expert who makes sure your printed pieces all match across different substrates and printing technologies. He thinks a fast turnaround, good communication and a great attitude should all come with the job.
And believe it or not, he doesn’t even drink coffee.
